During her time with the COVID-19 Taskforce at Health Canada, Abbi supported epidemiological surveillance, data coordination, and system-readiness planning to guide timely response strategies. She also contributed to the Drug Shortages Taskforce, where she played a pivotal role in process improvement initiatives to stabilize critical medication supply chains during health emergencies.
At the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC), Abbi served as a research analyst and first author on a peer-reviewed publication examining the Take-Home Naloxone program, providing critical insights for the decriminalization of opioids in BC.
