Looking to strengthen your program and demonstrate results?

We can help you do that.

  • Fraser Health Authority

We were seeking a qualitative interviewer to conduct interviews with emergency room staff at two hospitals in our region. The project was gathering information around working with patients in emergency that have substance use or mental health challenges. Changemark made a valuable contribution to this project from start to finish. They were easy to work with,  reliable, skilled, and generated a high-quality report for our leadership summarizing the findings from this project.

    - Tobie Patterson // Manager, Substance Use Contracts and Clinical Services

  • Employ to Empower

I would recommend Changemark in a heartbeat. The contractor assigned to this work was more than a program evaluator for Employ to Empower; she brought compassion, attention to detail and empathy to her process and it was very much needed in an organization like ours that values trauma-informed leadership. What impressed me the most is her background in working with populations who face barriers and took initiative to ensure that language was accessible to the community and put extra thought beyond simply designing documents - she was the perfect combination of heart and muscle.

As well, the pricing was more than reasonable for a grassroots, local charity like mine. I'm really pleased with my experience with Changemark! ”

  • Nature United

I appreciated the passion and dedication the Changemark team brought to the project we worked on together. They really communicated their desire to deliver a product that would be useful for our organization and showed that they understood the importance of and cared about this work throughout the project.

    - Zahra Remtulla // On the Land Programs Coordinator

  • BC Centre on Substance Use

Our group was in need of copy-editing services for a technical guide, Changemark assigned a contractor to this work who was professional, friendly and understood our needs right away. She did an excellent job of copy editing our material and communicated with us throughout the process. It was a pleasure to work with professionals who not only do excellent technical editing but also understand the purpose of our work and can provide informed advice.

  • Kilala Lelum Health Centre

Kilala Lelum Health Centre is an Indigenous primary care and cultural services provider in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. We were seeking out a program evaluator with both addictions research experience and experience working in partnership with Indigenous peoples and were extremely happy to have contracted Changemark. The contractor assigned to this work has very much become a part of our team. She understands the importance of investing in relationships, participating in cultural activities, and of stepping back in allyship in the context of working in a decolonizing health centre. She is functioning both as research manager for a prospective cohort study and a program evaluator. She has also assisted with grant writing and knowledge sharing planning. She is incredibly efficient, responsible and self-directed.  She provides great leadership to the junior research team members. Jill has become part of our family at Kilala Lelum and I would highly recommend Changemark to other Indigenous focused organizations.

    - Dr. David Tu // Board Member, Primary Care Lead and Family Physician

  • British Columbia Institute of Technology

Prior to joining BCIT, I worked for a post-secondary institute that was in search of a researcher with a successful history in grant and proposal writing, someone who was innovative, culturally sensitive and was genuinely interested in, and committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous people through education. We hired Changemark to re-design a career exploration and post-secondary transition program for Indigenous learners that, at the time, needed a complete review, assessment and restructuring. They quickly demonstrated that they were was a positive addition to the team, the quality of their work is incredible. Throughout the project, Changemark worked closely with our Indigenous leaders and stakeholder groups and maintained a clear understanding and utmost respect for everyone’s role and contribution to the project. I was completely satisfied with the end result, so when a similar research opportunity arose at my new job, Jill was highly recommended. Today, she and Lizzy have begun on a similar project at BCIT.

    - Tami Pierce // Associate Director, Indigenous Initiatives and Partnerships

  • North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit

“Our organization worked with Changemark Research + Evaluation on the qualitative analysis of two survey evaluation questions. The report provided by Kate was very thorough and detailed. She provided thoughtful insights, and a summary based on the questions asked. Jill and Kate were both patient and flexible with us, and overall easy to work with.”
