Andrzej has been active in harm reduction projects, advisory panels, and national working groups, focusing on research related to opioid agonist treatment (OAT), safe supply, deprescribing, substance use policy, and the evolving drug supply. He has contributed to knowledge translation, community-led research, and policy development, and has organized conferences, webinars, and collaborative initiatives advancing the voices of people who use drugs.
His written work includes journal articles, book chapters, and op-eds for a range of publications, and he has presented widely on topics such as safe supply, peer work, OAT access, substance use in the trades, and the challenges of navigating an increasingly toxic and unpredictable drug supply.
He holds a diploma from Seneca College and a master’s degree in Environmental Studies (with Urban Planning Certification) from York University, where his graduate research explored substance use and the housing crisis.
