Katrina is a research management consultant living and working on the traditional, unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nation. Katrina is passionate about ethical research grounded in the needs of the community, accessible care, and autonomy in accessing care.

Katrina has managed the successful completion of phase II and phase III clinical trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD. She has collaborated on presentations and publications in the area of psychedelic research, focusing on the need for diversity and inclusion in this field. Katrina has also worked in the area of neuroscience investigating neuropsychological impacts of meditation in various populations.

In addition to her experience in clinical trials in the areas of addiction medicine, and psychedelic psychotherapy, and neuro scientific research, Katrina has worked in her community with youth experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, as well as in family program planning, facilitation, and evaluation. She is currently completing her midwifery training at the University of British Columbia and intends to apply her knowledge and experience in clinical research to the field of perinatal medicine.
